Operations director becomes new MD at R. A. Rodriguez

Former managing director to help drive dynamic growth of RARUK Automation

A. Rodriguez (UK), the Shefford-based supplier of quality gears, bearings and power transmission components, has announced appointment of Darren Reynolds as its new managing director with immediate effect.

He takes the reins from Peter Williamson who will now focus on other managerial roles supporting the development of the RARUK Group and, in particular, RARUK Automation Limited, which continues to grow rapidly.

Reynolds has worked with R. A. Rodriguez (UK) for more than 10years and for the last five years has served as its operations director. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the bearings and power transmission industry, and has been central to providing the gold-standard applications support to which the company attaches such high importance, it states.

From strength to strength

“The company couldn’t be in safer hands with Darren at the helm and we all look forward to it going from strength to strength,” comments Peter Williamson. “His appointment allows me to concentrate on steering the dynamic growth of RARUK Automation Limited and harnessing wider opportunities to benefit the RARUK Group.”

Adds Reynolds: “I really am looking forward to the opportunity to drive and develop R.A. Rodriguez (UK) Limited with continued success. Our portfolio of products has a unique or competitive edge and this, combined with our applications know-how, has proved to be a winning formula on which I am keen to build.”
