Opti-tec 7020 silicone potting protection with total clarity

Sometimes you need to be really clear about things - very transparent and very protective. Perhaps you need to view potted components or need true non-yellowing optical clarity for light transmission, while providing support and protection for potting of sensitive opto-electronic components such as LEDs, displays or solar panels.

Opti-tec 7020 is a two-part water white clear liquid silicone offering really good moisture and temperature resistance in a soft rubber which withstands operational stress well. It features a non-yellowing catalyst system and a low viscosity which allows ease of flow around complex parts, providing electrical insulation and shock protection. When fully cured, either at room temperature or when accelerated at increased temperatures, Opti-tec 7020 exhibits a refractive index of 1.406 and a thermal operating range of -60degC to +200degC.
