New Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP cards for AC890 drivesParker SSD Drives is launching two new communications option cards for the AC890 modular systems drive and AC890PX high-power modular drive. Designed to extend the functionality and performance of the AC890 range still further, the new Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP cards enable users to choose from seven industry standard protocols, so the AC890 can be integrated into an even wider range of systems and networks.

The new cards are compatible with AC890 firmware version 3.2 and later and are easily installed, plugging into an option slot on the AC890 drive and configured with DSE lite software. Existing users can also take advantage of the new communications options by upgrading their drives with the current firmware, which can be downloaded for free from
