PCBs make products compatible with AS-i SafeAs a co-inventor of AS-Interface, IFM Electronic is keen to see the protocol used more widely, so is offering a variety of potted and unpotted PCBs to enable products to be made compatible with the AS-i standard.

The latest addition to the range of AS-i OEM Circuits is the AS-i Safety PCB AC015S. This simple, compact device is a certified safe AS-i circuit in a housing measuring only 32 x 45mm. Designed for use with mechanical safety devices, this device makes it simple to integrate AS-i Safe (AS-i Safety at Work) directly into an OEM housing. Wires are attached for the AS-i and device connections, and LEDs on the housing indicate operation, function or errors. Fully compliant with all the most recent safety standards up to IEC 61508 SIL3 or EN ISO 13849-1 Pl e, the AC015S is ready to make OEM products AS-i Safe.

This is only one of several similar PCBs from IFM. These AS-i PCBs can be installed in any on-site housing, panel, control cabinet or in individual housings. Some of the PCBs are fully potted and have either connection wires or screw terminal connections.

AS-i PCBs from IFM Electronic conform to the latest network standards AS-i 2.1/3.0, with extended addressing available.
