iwis is introducing a new generation of Elite chains. The re-development of the range has focused on improvements of production techniques, tolerances, raw materials, lubrication and lifespan. Tests within iwis’ laboratory found that the lifespan of Elite chains could be improved by over 50 per cent.

The range includes British and American standard roller chains in carbon, stainless steel and nickel-plated options. Conveyor and attachment chains are available from the UK and can be produced to order. A large range of British, American and European leaf chains on stock in the UK services the UK and European market. As original equipment supplier to the agricultural market, Elite combine and bailer chains are available from stock in the UK as well as from iwis’ agrisystems plant in Germany.

Andrew Fletcher, Operations Manager with iwis drive systems in Tipton, says: “For many years iwis’ Elite brand of roller chain has been used by major original equipment manufacturers and end users and is seen as critical component to countless applications where consistent quality and value for money are of paramount importance. The range satisfies most conveying and transmission applications. Customers such as Bosch GmbH are so satisfied with the product they have decided to award iwis with their certificate of excellence and have recognised the Elite brand as their No.1 product for all transmission and conveying applications.”

iwis offers a comprehensive product range for all applications in power transmission and conveyor technology. For further information about the new Elite chains, please visit www.iwis.com.
