Higher performance ballscrew-driven system from HepcoMotionHepcomotion is expanding its PSD80 screw driven range to now incorporate a ball screw driven version. The range and offering remains the same as the successful lead screw driven product, but the new ball screw, PSD80, has four times more load capacity offering customers longer life with higher accuracy.

Available in four useful pitches, 4, 5, 12.7 and 25.4mm and a 5mm left-hand thread version, the new product is sure to find applications in a range of scientific and medical applications where higher positional accuracy together with improved life are required.

Standard units are fitted with single carriages, for higher capacity carriages can be added providing a compact systems with minimal maintenance, making them suitable for Z axis applications. In addition the range is completed by a double-acting version with the two carriage movements symmetrical about the centre of the beam.
