elobau's safety switches have been designed with increased performance and greater safety in mind, with the eloProtectM magnetically actuated switches and eloProtectE RFID switches building on the company's strong history of innovative and reliable safety products. The latest enhancement to the range are T-connectors to enable series connection of the eloProtectE RFID sensors, and adapters for direct coupling to M12 cables.
The eloProtect range features a choice of housing styles based on the two most popular industry standard sizes, the 153 (see right) and 165 (see below) formats. IP69k housings are standard on both switches. The range conforms to all the appropriate safety standards and is UL/CSA approved.

For the eloProtectM range, additional circuitry has been incorporated to reduce the possibility of manipulation from a non-coded source. Each version allows for a greater misalignment value of between 3 and 5mm. This results in a reduction of any unwanted influences due to machine vibration. The improved design means elobau offers LED indication with the normally-open contact arrangement. There is also an option of an additional control contact.
In the eloProtectE (RFID) range, there are three different coding levels to choose from, allowing the tampering protection to be set according to the application. The device has two 400mA current rated outputs and can be used as a standalone device, with no need for a safety relay, making it suitable for OEMs manufacturing small or compact products.
