Photoelectric sensor transmits Ethernet data interference-free

With the DDLS 500 data transmission photoelectric sensor, Leuze electronic has developed a device that, in addition to a high transmission rate of 100Mbit/s, is claimed to set new standards - above all, with respect to usability.

Photoelectric sensor transmits Ethernet data interference-free

The device transmits all common Ethernet protocols without a time delay over distances of up to 120m, be it Profinet, Ethernet IP, EtherCat, Ethernet TCP/IP or Ethernet UDP. For quick inspection of the received signal level, each unit has an LED display that can be easily recognised at a distance of up to 120m. This simplifies maintenance and diagnosis considerably.

Through the modular basic design, DDLS 500 devices can be flexibly arranged. This applies to the operating ranges, heating and the integrated laser alignment aid, which simplifies alignment over long distances. An integrated bubble level and a mounting plate with spring-loaded wobble elements also contribute to the simple alignment by just one person (there is a patented single-hand adjustment process).
