PI UK events and precautions for Covid-19

With the current coronavirus situation, you may be wondering what's going to happen to PI UK's planned series of seminars. So is PI UK, but the organisation is busily preparing for whatever may be necessary.

At the present time, PI UK is not intending to cancel any events but, with the situation changing daily, it may have to postpone one or more, in which case all pre-registered delegates will be told as soon as possible.

In the meantime, PI UK is asking everyone that registers for its events to be extra diligent in following advice from the appropriate authorities and to read carefully and act on our Covid-19 Safety Precautions below.

Covid-19 Safety Questions:

Have you been travelling in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Northern Italy, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Tenerife (H10 Costa Adeje Palace Hotel), Thailand or Vietnam in the last 14 days?

Note: that the list is changing almost on a daily basis. Please keep checking here to see if any more have been added and if so, please include these too.

Have you been in contact with anyone else that might have been to these countries in the last 14 days?

Have you been in contact with someone who has or could possibly have Coronavirus / COVID-19?

Have you had or been in contact with someone who has had a cough, a high temperature and shortness of breath?

If within 7 days before the event the answer to any of these questions is "yes", please do not attend the event! Even if you just have a common cold (or similar) we would appreciate it if you could stay at home and focus on getting better. There will be future events and we can answer questions in between events.

How can I view the presentations?

If you would like the option to receive the presentations that were due to be given and be kept informed of any new event dates, please check and if necessary update your registration details by following the link from your original registration confirmation email or by visiting www.eventbrite.co.uk/mytickets. Make sure that you have ticked the box "please add me to your mailing list".

Also, if you'd like to get into direct contact with any of the presenters, please tick the box: "The presenters and exhibitors at this event would also like to provide you with relevant information. If you would like us to pass your contact details to them for this purpose, please tick to confirm."
