PI UK webinar explores EMC for industrial automation systems
The first in a new series of webinars from PI UK will be presented by Peter Thomas of Control Specialists Ltd, Chairman of the Profibus and Profinet International (PI) Training Centres and Technical Officer PI UK. Taking place on Monday 11 May 2020 at 10:00 BST, it will be a free-to-attend one-hour webinar on the subject of EMC in Industrial Automation Systems. It is particularity relevant to people responsible for the design and installation of Profibus and Profinet networks as outlined in the PI Guidelines on Earthing and Bonding of Profibus and Profinet Networks.
However, it is also useful for those who need an awareness of the often misunderstood topic of EMC in industrial automation. The course will take the form of a presentation with on-screen demonstrations to aid understanding. Time has been allowed for questions to be asked.
