Pickering Interfaces presented with Queen's Award
Pickering Interfaces was recently presented with a Queen's Award for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.
Receiving the award from HM Lord Lieutenant, Mrs. Jennifer Tolhurst, Pickering CEO, Keith Moore commented: "Pickering is a family-run business and we are honoured to have won such a prestigious award. Our aim is to support customers in hi-tech industries by providing highly reliable solutions for their specific problems, rather than selling them a "catalogue part'. Our success is due in largely to the flexibility of our workforce who are committed to providing on time delivery of complex systems. We have worked hard to create this environment globally, and the award is testament to this. We thank the Queen's Award committee for the Award which we will treasure."
Also attending the presentation were Councillor John Jowers, Chairman of Essex County Council, all employees of Pickering Interfaces UK and invited guests from Pickering Electronics and Pickering Interfaces CZ. Pickering Interfaces exports 95 per cent of its production: 40 per cent to North America, 35 per cent to Europe and 20 per cent to Asia and has seen sales growth of 25 per cent on average per year during each of the past three years.
