Kistler Instruments is using the 2010 Mtec show to promote its range of accelerometers using the Kistler PiezoStar grown crystal. These devices provide exceptional stability and high-temperature performance. Since 1998, crystals measuring up to 65mm in diameter and weighing up to 2.5kg have been grown and processed by Kistler to form sensor elements, creating a new group of pressure and acceleration sensors with properties that are claimed to be superior.
