Pilz to present safety seminars at HSE 2021
Big gathering anticipated for event focused on running of safe and efficient workplaces
The Health & Safety Event, which takes place from 7-9 September at the NEC, is described as the UK's largest gathering of people responsible for running safe and efficient workplaces.
Pilz Automation will be there, exhibiting, presenting five machine safety seminars and sponsoring the Machinery Safety Zone, an important new feature for 2021.
All seminars hosted at HSE 2021 are CPD-accredited and, with a packed schedule, delegates will have plenty of opportunity to gain points for their portfolio. Pilz in-house machine safety experts will be hosting the seminars and will be covering the following subjects:
- A Simple Guide to Sensors for Safeguarding of Machinery
- PUWER and Machinery Safety compliance
- Maintaining safe distances between people and machinery
- Protection against machinery manipulation
- CE & UKCA Marking for Machinery.
The Machinery Safety Zone will contain specially curated machine safety content, emphasising the point that, while efficiency and productivity are important, the safety of employees should always take precedent.
