Elesa is launching FJT series plastic fork-style rod ends that are resistant to continuous washing cycles with solvents and detergents, so they are suitable for applications in the food and pharmaceutical sectors, or other areas where wet or corrosive operating conditions are encountered.
These new fork rod ends are available in M6 to M14 sizes, manufactured from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide based technopolymer. This ensures both very low weight and good stiffness, as well as low noise and excellent shock-absorbing characteristics. Typical applications are expected to include pneumatic actuators, print machines, light mobile equipment, HVAC flap and valve controls, and machine guarding activation - or any general rod-based mechanisms requiring component support/adjustment, actuation and manipulation.
