Category 3 safety relay for e-stop and safety gates
Norstat carries a full line of safety relays that are, states the company, “reliable, cost effective and well suited for most any safety or automation application”.
The SAFE 1/1.1 relay is positioned as a high-quality, low-cost safety relay, capable of a safety rating up to Category 3. It features single and dual channel switching technology for emergency stop switches or safety gate monitoring, “all packaged in a robust, yet compact, design”. The relays are available WITH (Safe 1) or WITHOUT (Safe 1.1) monitoring of the start button, allowing for automatic start/restart.
The SAFE 1/1.1 comes standard with 3 NO and 1 NC contacts, and has LED indication for power, channel and operational state. It has a fallback time of < = 100ms and a recovery time of <= 0.5s.
The SAFE 1/1.1 operates on 24V AC/DC ( electronic fuse ), can function in temperatures ranging from -25° C to +55° C, and is TV, UL and CUL approved.
