Pneumatic cylinder position sensors operate at 110V
ifm electronic's MR range of position sensors for pneumatic cylinders operate at 110V. In addition, the sensors are simple to install in T-slots with just a twist of the fastening disc; if the cylinder is a tie-rod or other type, ifm supplies adapters to suit.
The insert-moulding technique used to manufacture the MR range of reed switches renders them extremely robust mechanically, and provides sealing against the ingress of moisture. LED indication is fitted standard, and in-line connectors are offered. Operating voltages for these two-wire devices ranges from 5 to 120V AC or DC (limited to 50V AC or 60V DC in the connector versions), which on DC will switch PNP or NPN.
