PolyMignon pressure-reducing valve is compact yet effective
The new PolyMignon pressure-reducing valve introduced by Abbeychart controls hot or cold water and air pressures over a wide range on its own, with a single adjusting spring and no need for changing components.
This compact unit has a high flow rate capacity and a competitive specification, enabling inlet pressures of up to 15bar (210psi) to be reduced to between 0.5 and 6bar (7-85psi). Its corrosion-resistant body is made from FDA- and WRAS-approved materials.
Offered with 1/4in BSP female or John Guest push-fit port options, the compact and lightweight unit is suitable for space-saving applications and systems where space is limited but an effective product is required.
Water temperatures up to 100degC can be handled in the BSP version, or 65degC with the push-fit ports. The valve is fitted with gauge test ports. Overall size is just 68mm high and 40mm long for the BSP model, or 54mm long for the push-fit version, with a weight of 70g.
