During August the PPMA is running two of its popular training events as follows:
'Effective Sales Skills for Non-Sales People' is a one-day course for individuals, business owners, engineers and sales teams who need to improve the effectiveness of their selling skills. Attendees will learn a number of techniques that will help them prior to, during and after sales calls.
The 'Introduction to Project Management' is a practical course offering essential and effective skills, tools and techniques for people who have never been trained in running a project, are working in a project support office, or who are new to the role of project manager. The course explores the basic principles of successful project management, identifies tools and techniques for confidently planning and managing projects, and explains what lessons can be learnt from managing work using a project approach.
Further details for these courses can be found on the PPMA website.
In addition to the events listed above, the PPMA also presents machinery safety seminars covering the Machinery Directive, Machinery Risk Assessments, Machine Guarding, Functional Safety, Robotic Safety for Integrators, PUWER and CE Audits. Other management training courses address Operational Excellence, Dealing with Difficult People, Better Communications Skills at Work, Effective Sales Skills for Non-Salespeople, HR for Non-HR Managers and Managing Workplace Performance. Furthermore, any of these seminars and courses can be tailored and presented exclusively to an organisation on an in-company basis.
