PPS wins Atlas Copco 'Outstanding Performance Award'
Pennine Pneumatic Services (PPS) has earned the Outstanding Performance Award 2010 for an Atlas Copco authorised distributor. Presenting the award, Sean Fairest, the Divisional Manager of Atlas Copco's Industrial Air division, commented: "PPS has led the pack in both sales and service and has beaten the record for the most oil-injected screw compressors ever sold by a UK distributor in a year."
The company's success was attributed to the fact that it is active across the entire range of Atlas Copco products. From its Halifax site, PPS offers complete compressed air systems covering the design, supply, installation and aftersales service of industrial and automotive compressed air systems. It provides a full range of ancillary and air-related products, in-line filters, compressed air dryers, oil condensate removal systems and full pipework installations.
In addition, PPS operates a dedicated energy audit department to carry out full site audits and leak surveys. Using the latest Atlas Copco iiTrak loggers, PPS provides a reliable and cost-effective energy-efficient compressed air package to optimise customers' productivity and profitability.
Directors Gary Whitaker and Leighton Harris have over 30 years of expertise in the compressed air industry.
