Pre-assembled M8 data cables with D-coded connectors
Thanks to their compact dimensions, the new M8 connectors from Phoenix Contact let you provide the smallest devices with Ethernet and Profinet. The symmetrically arranged contacts of the D-coding provide secure data transmission.
The installation space is up to 30 per cent smaller compared with M12 connectors. Field devices can be supplied with data and power simultaneously via Power over Ethernet. This saves even more space. A special 360 degree shielding ensures high electromagnetic compatibility and a robust, vibration-resistant shield connection.
The assembled M8 connectors with D coding are suitable for 100Mbps CAT5. They are PoE-capable up to 4A at a maximum of 60V. Versions with special material selection are available for railway applications.
