Precise real-time communication in torque measurement

TIM-EC supports a sampling rate of up to 20,000 measured values per second on the bus. It is characterised by a low group delay of approximately 100 µs, and rapid data transmission without interference signals. Signals are transmitted digitally and without loss of accuracy and both the angle of rotation and the performance can also be captured with this highly flexible device.

The TIM-EC is fitted with an integrated web server that facilitates the diagnosis and parameterisation of data via standard browsers so that no separate software is required. The module is suitable for a wide range of applications in field-bus based automation and control systems. These include function test benches and test benches for electric and combustion engines, gears, pumps and compressors.
