Greg Dutfield, UK head of maxon's Industrial business unit, will lead the maxon team at the event. Greg and colleagues will advise machine builders who are aiming to increase the performance of their machines about DC motor technology specification.
As well as a range of motors, the maxon team will present gearheads and encoders, along with motor speed and position controllers including multi-axis control. Further to the array of customisable products from maxon's extensive catalogue, maxon engineers will also discuss how they provide machine builders with complete, turnkey mechatronic drive systems.
Producing two million drives per year for industrial automation projects around the world, maxon partners with machine builders, ranging from packaging machine developers through to robotics designers, to maximise machine productivity and reliability. Ensuring consistency, maxon achieves the EN ISO 9001 quality management standard supported by the EN ISO 14001 environmental management system.
"Machine building is a traditional focus for maxon and the development of our precision drive system technology has enabled machine builders around the world to enhance the productivity and performance of their machines," says Will Mason, maxon UK and Ireland's Managing Director. "Machine Building Live is an interesting event to meet design engineers, learn about their needs in machine motion, and advise on the drive system specification that answers their requirements."
