Pressure Equipment Directive - online guide and free download
Conformance has published a very helpful online guide to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED), plus the page has a link from which the full text of the Directive can be downloaded as a PDF.
At the start of the guide to the PED there is a short summary of the Directive's main points, such as applicability and other European Directives that cover pressurised equipment. The summary also introduces the hazard-based classifications and the applicable assessment and conformity procedures. In addition, the summary mentions documentation such as instructions and the Declaration of Conformity, as well as requisite markings.
