Pressure transmitter gains EHEDG certification
Wika's SA-11 pressure transmitter is now certified in accordance with EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) by the Technical University of Munich/Weihenstephan. Thanks to this certification, the range of applications for the SA-11 pressure transmitter in hygienic applications has been significantly widened.
Sterile Varivent, Neumo BioConnect, Neumo Connect S or DIN 11864 connections ensure safe and reliable installation. In addition, the design of the SA-11 is optimised for use in high temperatures, such as those in SIP processes. Its IP68 sealing provides further security for the installation.
The multitude of possible combinations for the electrical connections, an accuracy of up to 0.25 per cent of span, 4-20mA, two-wire signal output, and an optional CANopen serial interface complete the product offering.
Through its compliance with hygienic directives, the SA-11 is suitable for a wide range of aseptic applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
