Procter's new website incorporates machine guard e-shop
Procter Machine Safety has developed an all-new website that is clearer, easier to navigate, and now includes an online shop for SATECH modular perimeter machine guarding components.
An improved website structure and menus help visitors find their way around the site and learn about the products and services offered by Procter Machine Safety, as well as providing easy access to useful background such as the company's 250+ years of history, its 30+ years' involvement in developing British and European Standards for machine guarding, and current and recent news. Brochures, drawings, data sheets, machinery safety guides and useful tools can all be downloaded free of charge via the 'Resources' tab. To coincide with the new website and to reflect the wider range of machinery safety services now offered, Procter Machine Guarding has rebranded as Procter Machine Safety.
Online shop for machine guards
A significant investment has been made in an e-commerce facility so customers can purchase components from the popular SATECH BASIC modular perimeter guarding system. Products that can be bought online include posts in a choice of heights, a wide variety of mesh panels, and door kits and accessories. Relevant data sheets can be downloaded, and there are contact details in case customers have any questions. An extensive range of other SATECH components are still available from Procter Machine Safety by ordering in the traditional way.
Further helpful features on the new website include a list of machinery safety standards, an explanation of machine safety regulations - including CE marking and PUWER - plus information about controlling noise emissions and providing safe access at height. In addition, there are pages dedicated to machine guarding in four key industries, namely automotive, manufacturing, paper mills and steel.
