Programmable logic relay is perfect solution for simple applications

Finder introduces OPTA, the new PLR (programmable logic relay) which it says takes ease of programming, integration, and innovation to a whole new level. The simple and self-contained programmable logic relay is perfect for creating simple applications in industrial automation, OEM and building automation sectors.

With the new OPTA, Finder’s industrial know-how meets the open-source innovation of Arduino Pro. It is connected with Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy technology, and is programmable without licenses using Arduino IDE or IEC/EN 61131 programming languages such as LADDER, FBD, etc. It also includes enhanced IoT security, thanks to its secure element chip.

Technical features of the new OPTA include:

  • 12…24 V DC input voltage
  • 8 digital/analogue inputs
  • 4 10 A relay outputs
  • Port for auxiliary module
  • Powerful CPU (STM32H747XI Dual-Core CORTEX-M7+M4 MCU)
  • Enhanced IoT security thanks to its secure element chip

The OPTA PLR is available in three versions: LITE – Type 8A.04.9.024.8300; PLUS + Modbus RS485 – Type 8A.04.9.024.8310; and ADVANCED + + WIFI and BLE – Type 8A.04.9.024.8320

At Machine Building Live on stand 65, Finder will showcase a range of panel products, including the new PLR, power analyser products, terminal blocks, relays, timers, industrial thermoregulation, LED panel lights and much more.
