Pryor launch on-the-fly laser component marking at Automechanika

There is growing demand for precision laser marking in the automotive sector and Pryor's advanced laser marking systems have already gained considerable traction with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. In particular, Pryor's ability to design, develop and manufacture custom engineered and fully automated products, which can be integrated with existing production lines has made them a key partner to a number of major automotive brands.

At this year's Automechanika exhibition, Pryor will be launching its innovative laser marking on-the-fly technology. This enables permanent laser marking and verification of components on high-speed conveyors, in as little as 0.5 seconds, without the need to pause the production line. Camera verification ensures every laser mark is automatically checked for definition, integrity and position. This is well suited for the high-speed manufacture of automotive parts, including plastic, metal and other materials.

In addition, Pryor will be showcasing its portable, hand-held laser marking unit, which can be used on larger components and assemblies, even using it to laser mark the VIN to the legally required depth, directly onto a chassis or engine.

Pryor's team of experts will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions that visitors may have about traceability in the automotive sector. They'll also be available to discuss the company's marking products and how they can ensure ultimate component traceability, process control and data capture.
