Pryor Marking grows 40 per cent in three years
Pryor Marking Technology has celebrated a busy and successful 2018, which has contributed to the company achieving a ground-breaking 40 per cent growth over the past 3 years. This has been largely due to global expansion and new products.
The multi-million pound industrial marking company has focused on key markets over recent years. These have included the set up of a US subsidiary in October 2016 and rebranding a French subsidiary, Mecagrav Industrie, as a full member of the Pryor family. Pryor has been trading in the USA for over 40 years and recognised the growth potential in this market. By establishing its own subsidiary, international customers can now experience the same level of service and complete product range as elsewhere in the world.
New product introductions have also prompted growth during 2018. The biggest growth areas have been in laser marking, where the company has introduced new electronic controllers, enabling new features such as "on the fly' high-speed marking and touchscreen control. In addition, a hand-held laser marking product, developed to support one of Pryor's charity initiatives with the British Heart Foundation, has opened up a new market segment for the company.
The Heart of Steel project for the British Heart Foundation is a prime example of the completely bespoke products that position Pryor as a high-quality and high-service provider.
