With the combination option in a housing with other contact insert modules, such as for signal and data transmission, this creates an individual, space-saving plug-in connection.

The demand for connectors with high nominal currents from 40 A for transmitting and storing renewable energy and supplying large data centres is growing. Heavy-duty industrial connectors are increasingly replacing conventional CEE plug-in devices. Due to the significantly lower contact resistance, the power dissipation compared to the CEE plug can be reduced, resulting in significantly lower electricity costs.

In addition, HEAVYCON modular enables the combination of a wide range of transmission media in a single housing, which creates a highly compact interface. Push-in contact inserts provide a secure, tool-free power connection up to 100 A. Flexible conductors with ferrules or rigid conductors up to 16 mm2 can be directly and easily inserted.

The particularly compact clamping chambers of the Push-in contact inserts offer a high packing density, which was previously only possible using traditional crimp connections. The Push-in Technology ensures maximum contact and conductor pull-out forces with a vibration-resistant and gas-tight connection. The extensive product range features the perfect contact insert for every application.
