SICK is hosting a week-long expert training course in November for experienced engineers and safety specialists wishing to qualify for SGS - TV Saar, Certified Safety Application Expert Training (CFSAE).
Held between 5 and 9 November 2018 at SICK's St Albans UK headquarters, the comprehensive course will be conducted by SICK's global machinery safety experts. It is aimed at machine builders, systems integrators, developers and applications engineers with responsibility for machinery safety. It also provides those with an existing specialism and expertise in machinery safety to realise their expertise with a professional qualification.
After the training, delegates have the option to take an examination after which they will receive a certificate and may use the title "Certified Functional Safety Application Expert (CFSAE) - SGS-TV Saar".
Dr Martin Kidman, SICK UK safety specialist says: "This in-depth course not only gives you everything you need to gain the functional safety application expert qualification, it offers the opportunity for an exchange of ideas and experience at the highest level amongst those working in safety-related applications.
"Even if you don't want to take the exam, it's also a chance for you to discuss your own requirements in detail with SICK's world-leading experts, so that you can confidently review and apply the requirements of functional safety standards for your own application."
