Quick access to digital services via QR code

How can customers quickly and easily access the handover documentation for a drive controller, motor or gear unit? STOBER puts a QR code on the nameplates of its components that users can scan using their mobile devices for this purpose. They can then download the desired documents directly.

Another digital service is the STOBER Configurator: With just a few clicks, customers can put together the right drive solution from the extensive product range online.

STOBER is steadily moving in the direction of digital twins and is already offering comprehensive digital services. STOBER enables its customers to quickly access relevant information via a QR code on the nameplate of the respective product. The drive specialist makes it easier to search for operating and assembly instructions, replacement part lists or information on the technical features of a particular system or component.

After scanning the QR code, users are redirected to the STOBER product ID card, which bundles all this information. In addition to entering the serial number, it is also possible to search by delivery note or invoice number. Alternatively, the product ID is also available on the STOBER website.

Another service offered by the Pforzheim-based drive specialist is the STOBER Configurator. With this online tool, users can intuitively put together the right drive solution from the extensive product range with just a few clicks. Numerous filters and comparison options are available to them for this purpose. They can sort the series according to the best price, performance or size. Depending on the filter settings, the program automatically displays the best match, which can then be configured precisely.

For maximum convenience, each configuration is visualised by CAD models, which can be rotated virtually. This allows mechanical engineers to check the mounting position of their geared motor in advance, for example.

They also have direct access to the associated technical data sheets and corresponding dimensional drawings. They can sign up and request a quote, save the finished selection or share it with other people. This makes selecting the optimum product extremely easy.
