Fourth-generation QUINT system includes more than 100 products
Since it was launched in 1996, QUINT POWER has been “synonymous with superior functionality and availability,” states Phoenix Contact.
Launched with five power supplies in 1996, the product family has been continuously further developed. For example, the second generation in 2002 featured Power Boost – a power reserve for starting heavy loads – for the first time.
The third generation saw the development of SFB technology, which, also for the first time, the company reports, allowed standard miniature circuit breakers to be selectively tripped. Today, the main features of these products are the options for customisation, intelligence and communicability.
In the fourth generation, the QUINT system includes more than 100 products. Alongside power supplies from 1 to 40 A, it offers uninterruptible power supplies, DC/DC converters, redundancy modules and energy storage devices. “Due to the extensive portfolio and combination options, QUINT provides a solution for numerous requirements.”
