Factories of the Future Expo

Running parallel to the Industry 4.0 Summit, the second Factories of the Future Expo will showcase the latest products, solutions and service providers for Industry 4.0, IIoT and smart manufacturing. Covering automation, robotics, software, sensors, connectors and cybersecurity, over 70 companies will be exhibiting, including Bosch Rexroth, ABB, Beckhoff, Dassault, Tharsus, IBM, Intel, HMK and IFM.

Industry 4.0 Academia Summit

New for 2018 is the Industry 4.0 Academia Summit. Manufacturing experts Professor Paulo Bartolo and Dr Carl Diver, from The University of Manchester, will host a series of discussions with leading academics at the forefront of research that links to industry.

Open Technology Forum

Visitors to the free-to-attend Factories of the Future Expo will be able to hear from companies at the forefront of Industry 4.0 developments and see case studies at the Open Technology Forum, which is sponsored by Intel and features experts from Bosch Rexroth, ABB, Zuhlke, HKM, Omron, Invisible Systems, HortonWorks and others.

Digital Innovation Challenge

The Digital Innovation Challenge, in association with the University of Manchester, aims to showcase and recognise the capabilities of students in digital innovation. A prize of 2500 will be awarded to the individual or team that presents the best innovation to meet any challenge relating to Industry 4.0 (Smart Manufacturing).

The KTN Innovation Showcase will bring together a selection of innovative UK businesses that are working to produce the key technologies needed to enable delivery of Industry 4.0 solutions, for organisations large and small.
