Rencol offers enclosure hardware for machine builders

At some point, most machine builders will make use of enclosure hardware. From hinges, to locks, latches, vents, and handles, enclosure hardware is vital for providing access and security to moving parts and sensitive electrical components.

What’s more, many specialised enclosure hardware solutions exist to make machines safer and give easier access to perform maintenance. Take for instance Rencol’s detent hinges. Detent hinges have an integrated latching mechanism which will hold a door or panel open at a specific angle. In many applications this removes the need for additional hardware, like gas struts, and improves access and reduces costs.

Locks and latches for enclosures are available in an enormous variety of sizes, shapes, and materials, many with functionality or ergonomics which will enhance machines. Rencol manufactures a range of camlocks and quarter turn latches with a choice of key types; from access with a simple hex key or flathead screwdriver, to a unique key or keyed alike lock for improved security. If oil or fluids are present, then compression latches provide a combination of security and protection from fluids and manufacturing debris.

Rencol’s website features a wide range of enclosure hardware, with filters and faceted navigation to help identify the ideal part for the machine builder’s application. They also offer 3D CAD for all parts, free samples, UK technical advice, decades of experience and keen pricing.
