Rencol Tolerance Rings appoints Appliance Product Manager

Stuart (on the left in the photograph) brings a number of invaluable skills and a great deal of experience with him to the Appliance Product Manager position. His channel management and distribution management expertise, as well as his background in engineering, make him well suited to the role, as does his international experience where most recently he worked in the United Arab Emirates

His international experience will be tested immediately, as his remit is to take the electric motor and domestic appliances market segment of Rencol's business and grow that. Initially Stuart will be concentrating on Rencol's growing operation in China, but the intention is to move to other manufacturing centres in India, Asia and Eastern Europe as the market demands.

Despite having conducted a global search for the right person to lead the electric motor and domestic appliances sector of its business, Stuart comes from a little closer to home, having worked for Rencol previously between 1999 and 2001. Some of the reasons Stuart identified as having no qualms about returning to the company were the investment in people, which the company pursues vigorously, and its 'friendly people culture'.

Summing up his new role, Stuart says: "I am really excited about the opportunity to take the tolerance rings solution into a new market that is not fully aware of the benefits that it can bring. With the international nature of my role, it is going to be a huge challenge, but it is something I am really looking forward to."
