Renold supplies conveyor chain to Volvo truck factory

Following the introduction of a new production line at Volvo's heavy goods vehicle plant in Sweden, a conveyor system was needed that could cope with temperatures of 180degC. Having worked successfully with Renold in the past, Volvo's engineers worked with Renold to establish the exact requirements before the design team at Renold drafted plans for the new chain.

This installation adds Volvo to the long list of companies around the world that have consulted Renold when a customised system was required. Renold's expertise and design skills mean that tailored systems can deliver great performance even in demanding application environments.
