Rexroth drive&control magazine - online and in print
Rexroth is promoting its drive&control magazine, which is available online (as user-friendly web pages, not a 'virtual magazine') and in print format from www.drive-and-control.com.
To give an indication of the magazine's content, currently there are articles about Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), energy efficiency, the Internet of Things, and the evolving market for machinery and plant. There is also information about transfer systems, mobile hydraulic control systems, linear guides, selecting the optimum drive technology, and the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Numerous application stories are also included. For example, there is a story about a jacking system for installing offshore wind turbine towers, an article about increasing throughput by 25 per cent on a line producing hard disc drives, a giant crane with a lifting capacity of 3200 tons, and a ride-on mower that keeps the operator level even when traversing slopes angled at 45 degrees.
