Schaeffler (UK) Ltd has appointed a new Managing Director. As of 31 July 2013, Roger Evans MBE will take over duties and responsibilities from Kate Hartigan, who is retiring after serving more than 19 years at the company.
In addition to his new Managing Director role, Roger Evans will continue in his current position as Plant Director of Schaeffler UK's automotive production plant in Llanelli, South Wales.
Kate Hartigan, who was appointed MD of Schaeffler UK in 1999, will begin a phased retirement on 1 August 2013. From August to December 2013, Kate will continue to support Schaeffler UK in an advisory capacity.
