Routeco announces distribution partnership with SMC Pneumatics

Routeco is announcing that on 10 November 2015 the company signed a UK distribution agreement with SMC Pneumatics (UK) Ltd, which will further enhance Routeco's product portfolio offering to OEM Machine Builder customers, as the company strives to enhance its position as the customers' Technical "˜Partner of Choice' for Control and Automation products.

Established in Japan in 1959, SMC has pursued a strategy of sustainable growth and now has a presence in 78 countries worldwide. With over 55 years of experience and a global reputation for excellence, SMC continues to invest in new product development and meet customers' needs with innovative, high-quality products which are supported from a 24,000m ² purpose-built production, logistics and administration facility in Milton Keynes where around 100 design engineers offer European wide technical support. In addition to the staff based at Milton Keynes, SMC has a nationwide sales team of over 120 technically trained sales engineers.
