Router with new security functionality
The FL Mguard RS4000 TX/TX-P security router from Phoenix Contact offers an extended temperature range as well as ATEX and IECEx approval. In addition, as of firmware 8.5 several security functions are activated by default in this product.
These include the Deep Package Inspection modules for OPC Classic and Modbus/TCP, enabling the relevant communication to be protected with fine granularity, and the firewall redundancy functions with and without VPN. In addition, the 250 VPN licence is activated making it possible to communicate with up to 250 peers simultaneously, plus CIFS Integrity Monitoring is available to protect systems that cannot be patched.
It is therefore no longer necessary to order individual mGuard license certificates for this product. The security router can be incorporated into the Defence-in-Depth concept according to ISA-99 and IEC 62443 and reliably protects small and large production networks.
