Safe and reliable sensor solutions for the food and beverage industry

To ensure it supports its customers’ needs, Carlo Gavazzi has obtained approval for the ILU and ILM series of magnetic level sensors making them suitable for direct contact with food products.

“This approval now positions us to help more of our customers in the UK with continuous level measurement and limit level detection when in direct contact with food and beverage products,” comments Will Darby, managing director for Carlo Gavazzi UK.

The ILM models are made in a spheric AISI 316 stainless steel housing. Reversible output function is achieved by means of a simple rod or float overturning and comes with a 0.5m Silicone cable and offers maximum electrical and mechanical flexibility with NO, NC or CO option.

The ILMPU versions are suitable for horizontal mounting, they are manufactured in a nontoxic polypropylene cylindrical housing with XLPE, PVC or silicone cable output connections. The ILMPU model can be used both as a NO and NC function with other options for CO output function as well as reversible output function by sensor housing overturning.
