Safety testers aid compliance with machinery safety standard
Whitelegg Machines is introducing the Schleich GLP1 safety testers for machine builders, being the sole agent for Schleich GmbH in the UK and Ireland.
Helping to meet the requirements laid down in Machinery Directive Harmonised European standard EN 60204 (Safety of machinery. Electrical equipment of machines. General requirements), the GLP1-g 60204 testers are used for testing the electrical safety of machines and devices as per the standard, with the values for the individual measurements being displayed clearly for the operator. Furthermore, an integrated interface enables test results to be printed or downloaded to a PC for storage and analysis via dedicated software.
Said to be very competitively priced, the GLP1-g EN 60204 testers are suitable for fast, uncomplicated tests in workshops as well as at installation sites. PE and insulation resistance tests, as well as high voltage (AC and DC) and residual voltage tests, are all incorporated.
