Schaeffler and Ewellix thrive at Machine Building 2023

Schaeffler and Ewellix thrive at Machine Building 2023

The first ever MachineBuilding.Live exhibition took place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham in October. The day was a successful one for Schaeffler UK and Ewellix UK, both part of the Schaeffler Group.

With excellent visitor numbers, packed aisles and busy stands across the day, the show provided a valuable platform for both companies, where valuable leads were obtained from machine building and system integration customers.

Phil Nicholas, general manager for UK and Ireland sales at Ewellix UK, commented: “It was good to see that all exhibitors had the same stand space, making us all equal in certain respects. We presented a comprehensive range of products manufactured by both Ewellix and Schaeffler and by mid-morning, we were in discussions with several new potential customers. Over the day, we received a good number of leads, which made the experience cost-effective and worthwhile.”

Richmond Averill, industrial automation engineer at Schaeffler UK, added: “The exhibition’s audience were the perfect target market for Schaeffler Industrial. There was a constant flow of people visiting the stand and it seemed to really work – we will definitely be exhibiting again next year.”

David Cuffe, application engineering and business engineer at Ewellix UK was equally impressed and shared insight: “We developed a good number of technical leads that showed an interest in our products and a similar number of more general discussions also took place. This event gave us a good balance of exposure for our business.”

All three commented: “It’s always great to be at a show, gaining exposure to new people and having an opportunity to discuss our products in more depth with them. The exhibition was a creative experience and a great chance to mix with the industry and speak to old colleagues and customers.”
