Schaffner expands its European distribution network

The EMC solutions provider, Schaffner, has announcee the addition of new authorised distribution partners to further extend its distribution network into new key market segments across Europe. The introduction of TTI and TME to Schaffner’s channel partners is designed to provide easy accessibility to its products throughout Europe.

Jamie Furness, head of distribution at Schaffner, said: “We’re delighted to add TTI and TME to our distribution roster. Our aim has always been to offer the highest possible level of accessibility to and service for Schaffner products across Europe, and the new distribution channels will enhance of existing network to enable us to achieve that.”

TTI Europe builds on its 30-year history in the region to maintain its status as a global leader in passive, interconnect, electromechanical and discrete components. With a purpose-built facility featuring 30,000 m² of dedicated warehouse space and services to all European regions, the distributor is a strategic addition to Schaffner’s network. Schaffner’s customers will be able to benefit from TTI Europe’s technical support and vast knowledge of the electronics market.

Additionally, TME has been appointed to further enhance Schaffner’s European distribution footprint. Shipping products from its 18,800m² warehouse in Poland into mainland Europe, TME combines knowledge of the electronics market with in-depth logistics expertise. TME’s ultra-modern logistics centre automates as much as 60 percent of its warehousing and distribution processes, enabling them to dispatch up to 10,000 parcels per day.
