SCHNEEBERGER absolute measuring system

The new SCHNEEBERGER absolute measuring system from Moore International is another step into Industrial 4.0 linear bearings. With it, you can use three out of five interfaces simultaneously, including BiSS/SSI, ABZ, UVW, SPI, analogue Sin/Cos. These options are available from size 5, the smallest MINIRAIL miniaturised linear guide.

The SCHNEEBERGER absolute measuring system provides a customised Flexprint to meet all of your needs, with Smart Plug Connection for FPCs. It is the smallest integrated absolute sensor, reading a laser-engraved graduated scale on the rail. Calibrated sensor values are stored on the sensor's internal EEPROM.

Patent pending, the system provides a linear resolution of 100nm, and absolute position accuracy better than 2um (3-Sigma).

The sensor measures just 9.9x5.0x1.1mm.
