Lee Spring will be exhibiting at the Autosport International show, which takes place on 12/13 January 2012 at the NEC, Birmingham. The company will be on Stand E638 in Hall 9.
With acknowledged expertise in the design and manufacture of custom springs, as well as a range of over 17,000 stock springs, Lee Spring's innovation and quality is relied on by many motorsport companies in the UK and elsewhere.
At the start of 2012 Lee Spring will introduce around 2000 new stock springs, covering metric and imperial sizes of compression, torsion, extension and wave springs - as frequently specified by Formula 1 teams. Metric compression and extension springs exceed DIN standards, while wave springs and torsion springs are manufactured to similarly high standards (there are currently no DIN or EU standards for these types of spring).
Stainless Steel REDUX wave springs are often popular for motorsport applications because they require less operating space and are resistant to high temperatures and corrosive media. In early 2012 Lee Spring will introduce 357 new metric sizes and 107 new imperial sizes of Stainless Steel REDUX wave spring.
All Lee Spring products are manufactured for strength, durability and resistance to corrosion. Music wire and oil-tempered music wire springs are zinc-plated, passivated and de-embrittled, while stainless steel springs are passivated to optimise their corrosion resistance.
