MiniTec UK is attending the 2009 Machine Building & Automation show (stand 804) for the third year running and will show an even larger selection of machine framing and modular positioning components and systems from its Profile System and Linear System ranges.
These ranges have continued to expand since the 2008 show to include even more components that are available for machine base and framing applications for OEMs, machine builders and system integrators. In particular, the MiniTec Linear System now includes ball bushings, slide units and torque bearings, plus precision-ground shafts and shaft supports that can be effortlessly specified; MiniTec UK's close relationship with motion specialist LG Motion (Stand 802), which provides motor, drives and control products and systems, helps transform these components into positioners and actuators for automated machinery applications.
MiniTec's Profile System is used in safety and guarding systems, workbenches, conveyor and parts handling machinery, automated manufacturing and test equipment, special fixtures and display consoles, multi-axis linear systems and complex production plant. Its innovative and patented Powerlock fastener allows rapid assembly with no pre-machining or pre-drilling and, unlike competitive brands, all that is required for fast, straightforward and neat frame construction is just a turn of an Allen key.
Since the last show, the MiniTec Group acquisition of flexible assembly line and belt conveyor systems company Profi-team SA has led to the formation of a new company to provide complete production and test lines built to customer specifications.
MiniTec's VA stainless steel Profile System will also feature, with a new catalogue available covering the 45mm x 45mm profile that is interchangeable with the standard Profile System but offers machine framing for harsh production environments, high-temperature processes and other areas where aluminium profiles have limited use.
Visitors can view demonstrations of MiniTec's extensive web-based design facilities, which include a CAD file download service and an interactive E-catalogue featuring a graphical user interface for simplified design visualisation and parts listing.
Once again, engineers and designers involved in all aspects of machinery construction that are eager to find a machine framing and building system that provides a fast time to market and economical option for themselves and their customers will find a visit to MiniTec's stand valuable.
