See MiniTec at North West Manufacturing Exhibition

MiniTec is exhibiting at this show for the first time (Stand C22). Visitors will be able to see first-hand how the products can help reduce time and costs for existing or new-build production, assembly and test machinery with MiniTec's newly added components and 372-page hardcover catalogue containing details of over 600 machine building components.

The MiniTec Profile System is used extensively in all aspects of machine base and machine frame building, ensuring fast time-to-market and flexibility for safety and guarding systems, manual workbenches, conveyor and parts handling machinery, automated manufacturing and test equipment. Special fixtures and display consoles components and multi-axis positioning systems for parts handling are also available and MiniTec is now able to provide complete devices for turnkey manufacturing production and test systems.

This extensive range covers over 30 aluminium profiles and new stainless steel profiles for use in harsh and outdoor environments, along with complementary components including fastening elements, links, hinges, handles, locks, feet, wheels, door elements and conveyor parts. The range also covers electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components, as well as linear bearings, guides, motors and transmission components for pick-and-place and automated handing applications.

Featured on the stand will be the innovative and patented Powerlock fastener that enables rapid assembly with no pre-machining or pre-drilling. Unlike competitive brands that require extensive pre-assembly preparation, the Powerlock ensures fast, straightforward and neat frame construction with just a turn of an Allen key. It also enables profiles to be re-used for maximum flexibility.

Time and cost savings at the design and planning stage of a project will also be demonstrated with MiniTec's web-based design facilities that include a CAD file download service and an interactive E-catalogue featuring a graphical user interface for simplified design visualisation and parts listing.
