Siemens raises standards for its Solution Partners

It is for this reason that we have enhanced our Solution Partners programme to ensure that any company specifying or installing a Siemens product, will do so to the highest quality standards and have the expertise to recommend the most suitable solution for any given requirement.

It is also crucial that they reduce their exposure to risk and ensure they instigate only the most efficient option when working with partner organisations. Market expertise

Siemens IA&DT assesses the performance of its partners across a number of areas, including the depth and quality of their market expertise. Each partner needs to clearly demonstrate it has tried-and-tested proven experience to be able to specify and install Siemens' products effectively and safety.

In addition, Siemens requests that two engineers from each partner need to be tested and certified by Siemens on each area of the Siemens programme (of which there are 24 modules). This certification process needs to be renewed every two years to ensure the engineers are fully up-to-date with the performance capabilities of the product range and the latest advancements in Siemens' technology. The modules cover a range of areas from Siemens' Automation System, SIMATIC to Drives, Industrial Energy Efficiency and Micro Automation.
