Acorn has become the first company in the UK to be awarded new maintenance product partner status by the world-leading bearing and maintenance product manufacturer, SKF.

SKF awarded the newly created accolade to Acorn in recognition of meeting criteria set out by the manufacturer that focused on stock holding and related maintenance services.

To achieve the certified partner status, Acorn met all of SKF’s requirements, including providing a range of maintenance equipment for hire, onsite training for customers and staff, and substantial stock investment to ensure stock is readily available for same-day despatch.

Acorn’s bearing product manager Andy Fletcher commented: “We are honoured to have been awarded such an important certification by SKF. It highlights Acorn’s commitment to providing the very best customer service and support, backed by the broadest range of SKF products available in the UK.

“Acorn is also celebrating its 20th year as an authorised SKF distributor this year, and in that time, we’ve amassed a substantial amount of product knowledge and expertise that we can pass on to our customers to give them the very best service and support.”

Acorn has several product experts who assist customers with queries, providing onsite assistance, training and solutions, making them a perfect partner to support customers with their maintenance strategies.
